nope, not me, i usually don't shoot those with a camera, usually a 12 guage or .38.
funny thing about a rattler (i dunno about other snakes) if you see one and have a gun on you, point the barrel at him and trace it back and forth until he follows it, once he begins to follow it, shoot. he will try to catch the bullet. you'll never miss if you do it right
