Default Portable Car Lift

The model for pickups and SUVs costs $1500 but I think it would be worth every single penny. Has anyone got their hands on this yet?

I can buy a nice used 2 post lift for that or a little more depends on how much capacity I want

That looks like its only good for brake jobs and suspension work

The biggest model only lifts 7k lbs. Gvw on my lr3 is like 7200?

14 gauge steel is not heavyweight I would not trust wrestling a trans under there jmo

14 gauge is pretty weak. on the other hand, you aren't going to put a 2-poster in your attached garage. if this thing wasn't overpriced $1000 it would be perfect for somebody like me that doesn't have a lot of room to work gets tired of juggling old floor jacks and stands. that **** is for the birds after coming across something like this. I have some transfer case/transmission mods coming up and a setup similar to this would be ideal for weekend work in a 2-car garage. man it would make life much simpler, if only for a few hours. oh yeah, brakes and springs/shocks...piece of cake on equipment such as this. eliminates all of the hassle.

Looks good for the average mid range CAR but woefully lightweight for most 5 to 7 seat 4x4's which will also need a nice flat floor to a garage in most cases. At $1000 it seems expensive for what it does and I would only use it on a mid range car and never a large LR.
