Default RR Classic on Archer

Any one else notice the sweet Rover on the new Archer? Steel bumper, skid plates... very nice!

I will look out for that.
Sadly Archer's doesn't survive to the end of the episode.

Didn't Dennis switch to a D1 at some point?

Dennis drove the green classic into the water while chasing a boat. Then he put an ad to sell it while still in the water. Then refused to sell because the buyer was going to give it to his son.

Dennis used a DI in more than one episode. I remember when he and Dee were on welfare and bought crack. They were in what looked like an Epsom green DI. Also, the RRC that Dennis used seemed to vary as well. I always thought there was someone on the show who was a Rover fanatic and that they simply used whatever Rover he happened to own at the time.

The episode from season ten is a riot with him standing along the ramp with the truck fifty feet out in the water, admonishing the potential buyer for saying it was a good starter car for his daugher.

"I have contained my rage for as long as possible but I shall unleash my fury upon you like the crushing of a thousand waves! Be gone vile man, be gone from me! A starter car? This car is a finisher car. A transporter of gods! The golden god! I am untethered and my rage knows no bounds!"

BTW, they used a '92 SWB in Los Angeles for filming and a '93 LWB in Philadelphia. The wheels were the same so on brief shots the show was able to get away with the discrepancy.

They used abot 30+ of these Custom Land Rover Used in the Movie 'Judge Dredd'
when they were making Judge Dredd. It's amazing in these films how many vehicles and props they get through.
