Nah, they are all needs for a long wait for the wrecker truck to arrive. Sensible fella eh.

Probably to sit outside under the stars in the fresh air and later watch the sunrise whilst still waiting ............ simples.

Nah, it's copper, wrought iron and steel otherwise she'd have burned her hand, eh, after standing there for 120 years.

You're right so ............... torch will do

What's that picture, it looks like many things one can imagine but I've figured it to be a pothole or sink hole. As a matter of interest, totally off thread again of course, I used to go rock climbing many years ago in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Didn't do potholing though .......... too claustrophobic for me as it took me many years before I even wore a full face crash helmet.
