So what are you guys using for mudd/sand/snow traction when you get stuck?

Found these 4' long sold as pair

I look at this stuff as have and not need rather than need and be screwed

ExPo has a bunch of good comparisons and ongoing threads on this.
One thing to consider is bridging/ramping capability. A lot of products do fine when used for traction but will fail in bridging/ramping applications.
I have these.
OKoffroad.com Recovery Gear - Waffle Boards
I've used them more as a bridge/ramp than for traction.
One time was a trail in northern WI that crossed a creek. It was winter and dropping into the creek was no problem but getting back out was tricky. The bank had a 3' vertical ice lip on it. We were able to use the waffle grates as a ramp and drive up and out.

Waffle boards look like the chicken coup flooring for roof racks

Yeah I know they don't look too tacticool.
They're pretty stout though. One side is smooth and the other side has large grit fused into it.

First pic does not work dusty

I don't care about tacticool looks but I have to stay to. A price range, cheap and functional lol need to stretch those dollars to fund all these projects
