IMO, the RRS is a downgraded version of the RR whereas the Evoque is an upmarket version of the Freelander to fill a gap but also unsuccessful (vis the BMW X6).It's all about 'bells and whistles' rather the serious use. IMO there are only a few real LR's. The Defender (soon to be discontinued), the Discovery 4 and the Range Rover, the others are toy variations and just have variances in 'bells and whistles'. Most parts in that range are common to all.

Nope, didn't miss your point at all. It's about popularity and sponsorship. Look at the other sections and how many peruse them, a handful at a time compared to the D2. If there were other sections they would probably be the same with mediocre interest also. I am surprised that some of the 'variations' sections haven't disappeared yet based upon interest and popularity.

As for a Discovery sport, never heard of it as it must be solely for NAS only. As for the Defender replacement, hmmm, it looks like a Yeti to me .............. it maybe a Yeti in drag ...........

Yea I think LR need to get their act together... even Ford just spouted off a new defender-esque ofroader for the Brazilian market (Troller T4)

Why this Ford 'jeep' won't be the next Bronco

Are you telling us you've never seen a Yeti before? That's cuz you live in France

We've got tons of em out here in the Pacific NW
