Loves me some Floyd. One of the top 3 band all time in my opinion.

Listened to this guy some today. I got to see him live about a month ago. He grew up about an hour and a half from me and he's made it to the big time over here in the US recently. Really bringing back country music to its roots, which is what I like.

I actually choked up a little when I heard this first one for the first time. I'd never heard a song that rung so true to the story of the region I grew up in.

Hi, the Floyd are personal pals, hence I play them regularly. I used to race cars with Steve O'Rourke until he died. Most riffs are about Syd Barrett who died from drugs, sad day for poor ole Syd.

 

Now the best and the final Floyd album! it all depends whether you are keen or have an hour or two to spend listening!

 

Found a Rod Stewart cd in a thrift store today for a buck. It had to be you. Listening to it now. Very nice very relaxing.

 

Rod Stewart has always been up there, he's getting a bit old now though................... like me!

Good music though, IMO

 

Did he stay, did he go?... Not the most complimentary song out there but beautiful all the same.
