crap weather over here? It was a lovely day today France. The sun was shining, the weather was warmer (although not as warm as it could be) and I had plenty of hot toddies to tied me over. In fact I'm drunk again! Pub crawls with Scottish ale, fishbowls and more hot toddies does a girl good. Good thing I'm heading back home tomorrow from this god forsaken tundra - the snow banks are half way up the utility poles - never in my life have I experienced anything like this. I'll be singing that song on my way home tomorrow - thanks for lifting my mood

I know, I know but at 68 it's a bit old for this stuff, but does anyone stateside like 'house music'. I've been interested in it for years, since the 80's, aside from my real passion for modern jazz. There are some similarities in improvisation but some 'house' just does it for me, like Culture Beat.

New Order and Bizarre Love Triangle:

When I was a DJ in college I played a lot of electronic, alternative and house music. Good stuff. Brings back some good memories - dancing, playing, having fun. And, France, you're never too old for any type of music

I was discovering some new music the past few days after being sent a sampler CD from a music label and fell upon a few bands:
