My dad raised me to appreciate musicianship and he said that you could find few bands better than Pink Floyd when it came to that. I play bass and modeled my playing off of early Roger Waters style, at least early on, though I never much liked Roger vocals. My dad met them as well in the early 70s, and saw them on a few different tours.

KernowDiscovery, I enjoy Echoes lyrics, however I really felt the last verse of Childhood's End:

I dunno what you are talking about!?! That stuff is great, just different. I try different flavours of music out as much as I can.

Though, a careful observer should already know who my favorite band of all time is...

Wow.. both of those songs - 'supernatural delight' and 'I'll be your lover' conjured up the image of a trail party by moonlight - all Land Rover enthusiasts....dancing. First to Supernatural delight and then heading on over to the slow song....
