Don't tell me that LR is green and has a burn mark in the leather in the driver seat and you got it at Jim Russ pre-owned in Wallace man.

 

I'm three years new to Charlotte. Before Charlotte it was WPB Florida, and before that it was Oaklnad, CA.Nothingmuch to add, besides my on going 98 Disco project. Markster, Yes I believe thats the one. Why? I havent seen a burn mark on the drivers seat.

 

Hey guys..sorry..I've been MIA lately. I haven't had a chance to look for local trails. The Land Rover needs a few things done and I should be ready to roll. Maybe we can all meet up one day.

 

Well it's not really a burn mark more of a place that's stiff. Did you really buy that one ghostrider? I took it out for a day but passed on it for an older one in better condition.

 

I got it. What kinda scoop ya got on it? What were your thoughts?

 

Ya had any brake issues with it? When I was driving it the front brakes would go out and only the rear brakes would work. I also drove some other LR's and that one seemed low on power. Of course, when I finally got the hood to open, I saw that sensor unplugged and when I plugged it in the motor idles up and wouldn't go below 2200. I guess that was the final straw and I passed on it. You know, if you were to replace those lug nuts because all the cover saps are missing, they're 23 bucks a piece. Ah, the stereo speaks were blown.

What did you end up giving him for it? I found a 96 in excellent condition for 2500 and jumped on it. It is a stick but I am living with it.

 

Just joined. I am from NC. Just bought a LR3. Getting rid of the Sport.

 

Welcome! What part of NC are you from?? You will love the LR3, when you say sport do you mean range rover sport?

 

If anyone is interested in getting some Royal Purple and you are in the Charlotte area, my brother is a wholesaler. Have to buy cases, but even with shipping, it is almost $2 a quart cheaper than the parts house. Not supposed to sell to the regular public, but we can probably make an exception....=)
