My wife, after watching some cr@p programme on TV, asked me to teach her to play golf ...................... now that has got to be a real laugh

I haven't met very many female golfers as yet who can swing a golf club, generally they are too stiff and cannot relax their limbs. (or for that matter hit the ball)

Teaching your wife to play golf is the equivalent of teaching your wife to drive a car .................. a real NO, NO which can only end up in murderous arguments or in divorce whatever

 

LOL !! yea.... you can show her the basics and explain to her how to hit, what to do etc.... but there's gotta be some natural ability there or it's hopeless. Golf is frustrating enough for a man

 

Shhssss, agreed, but I think she really believes there are 19 holes and the 19th is the hardest and longest hole which takes ages

Tried to teach my girlfriend last summer how to play golf, and this is the lesson I learned.


The golf lesson will end in PAIN sooooooooooooo....
Cut to the chase: To start, take the 7 iron and beat YOURSELF in the head multiple times until dizzy or ideally unconscious. Lesson over.

Ok.... here's the secret. If you want to have any kind of chance at this thing without you coming off as the bad guy..... take her to a par 3 course. Show, tell her how to do it....and let her see if she likes it. I mean, c'mon.... it's a par 3 course. That's like a 7 iron, a 9 iron and a putter. You two can still have fun together and it will help her decide whether she likes it enough to keep at it or not
