Talking Woodstock, GA local help

Hey if there is any of you local to Woodstock, Ga I could use some help. Buried my diffs last night off Woodstock Pkwy/Rope Mill Rd in the mud holes.. called Neese Towing but they want an awfully ridiculous recovery fee.

If you have a winch or chain and can help, please call me @ 678-7four9-five4nine6
I would greatly appreciate it and will pay with cash, beer/food or a friendly handshake!

Thanks!

Could be worse...

I used to live off Wade Green and I-75, that clay mud around there is stickyeee.

And don't forget the local farm girls, they have a booming recovery business.

Sorry I'm not closer. I live in Rome, but it's still about an hour and a half drive down there.

Ha! Yes it could get worse.. and those farm girls are nowhere near here! But in any case I can only think of one rover chick I'd want touching my truck.

Thanks anyway for the willingness to help RC..

Hopefully I come up with a solution soon... eeek!

How much did the wrecker service want for recovery? You are in a clay pit, so the water takes a long time to soak thru the bottom, keeps it soft. Not like splashing thru a mountaiun stream with sandy and rocky bottom.

Very slick. Wrecker service wants $300 I'm really not all surprised, but sheesh that's what I used to charge when I was driving a triple axle recovery truck to pick up a cement truck!

Today was fun though, a buddy came with his jeep and was able to get a couple other trucks outta the little muddles... all but mine

I bought a 48" hi-lift farm jack, but with all this rain my truck is about to float its way out of the damn hole! Need a longer chain...

So it got worse.

My truck was vandalized.. that's what I get for wheeling beyond my limits

But at least I got her out, no windows were busted and doesn't appear anything was stolen (I removed head unit and UltraGuage)... friend borrowed his dad's Dodge Ram dually 4x4!

Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

Thanks Buzz for welcoming back a healthy dose of sanity..

I'm thankful they didn't steal anything (aside from my car charger). They did however bust some things up inside my truck. It would appear that CSI rummaged through it looking for something hiding.. if it was a dummy cover, they pried it off, if it had clips on it or screws in it, like the speakers they were removed, not taken, just removed and left hanging there. Cut my headliner all to pieces pulling all the foam out. Removed/broke the bezels surrounding the gear selector and window controls too. But all in all, I'm not as pissed off about all that except they threw all my CD's into the mud! Bastards!! Those were my dead uncle's CDs that meant the world to me...

Should I dust the truck for fingerprints? There was a note left on the ground behind my truck with a phone number and a good sam offer, "For $50 I will pull you out"... car charger is all you'll get this time you sobs!
