Your first car...

I'm 51 and my brother is 64. It was amazing the cars he convinced my father to buy in the '60's. One was a dark green with black vinyl top Dodge Coronet with a 440 under the hood. To the day my father died if you asked about that car he'd say 'she had some pep!'. Pep, it was a disguised NASCAR race car on biased ply tires!

First car I purchased with my own cash was a 1977 Toyota Corolla; I was 18. I don't have any photos of it, but it looked similar to this one, only in white:

My first car was purchased for me by my parents. It was a 1972 Toyota Corona Wagon; I was 17 and in my last year of high school. It was yellow and made a great "crew mobile" for me and my skater friends. Again, no photos, but it looked like this one:

Not to give away my age but my first car is my current rover................... I'm not even out of High school yet BTW. I am probably one of the smartest teenagers if not the smartest teenager in the world when it comes to a DI 1995 with a 3.9 L. Considering all the work I have done, by myself, most adults won't ever tackle.

The first car I bought was a motorcycle (1978 KZ650 Custom).
I decided to buy a street bike when I was 17, but was too young to purchase a car or bike from a dealer.
I had my older brother drive me to the bike shop and he signed the paperwork for it, and put the bike on layaway.
We went back every month with a payment. Rode it home on my 18th birthday with no license, registration or insurance.

My first car was a 1990 Hyundai Sonata, couldn't drive too far with it till I had to get out and get some air the smell of gas inside was too intense. Needless to say I got rid of it after a few months, it should now be gladly crushed.
My second car was a 2006 smart fortwo, which I had for three years and this past week sold it, loved it but I'm an outdoors gal so I needed a vehicle to fit that, bought it cash so it was cheap driving.
My third vehicle is my 1997 Land Rover Discovery SE and I love it, great vehicle only had it a month but I do enjoy this vehicle a lot. Bought it cash so all I have is accessories, maintenance and gas to pay, sweet.

If you mean this:
Toyota Corolla (71-74) TE27 Mango
I would have been stoked. That is a pretty cool little coupe.
After the Corolla, I did buy a 1973 Celica. It was fast, pre-5mile bumper model, blue, and low to the ground. Fun car!
The Celica blew up, so I bought a new Honda Civic in 1989. Sold it in 1995 and bought a 1965 Dodge Dart convertible. It was a heap, but it looked cool.
After the Dart was sold, I bought a 1966 Chevelle Malibu 4-door hard top. It had a small block 283 V8 and was pretty clean. I loved that car, but after moving to Seattle with it, it became impractical because I had no where to work on it and no money to pay a mechanic, so I sold it and bought a new 1998 Honda Civic.
And those cars led me to the current lineup of the Saab, Rover, and the pile of Austin Healey parts in the garage.
