I came across an 83 series 3 for sale. I noticed 1 spot was definitely bondo. So pulled out a magnet and very little reacted. These were steel bodied not aluminum? It shows signs it was well used. Now I'm wondering how well?

 

Most panels will be aluminum

 

Thank you. I was so surprised when the magnet did stick to the panels. I started to think, "how much mud is on this thing?"
