Default 2004 7 Passenger Disco II for sale

Sooo I got this 2004 to replace my aging 2002 Kalahari Edition Disco II. After getting the 2002 fixed up and in good condition to sell I just couldn't part ways and have now decided to sell the 2004. I think its priced right, but please feel free to let me know if you guys think its too high / too low.

Cheers,
Dave

I paid $14,500 for my '07 LR3 in December at Land Rover of Greenville, SC with 68,000 miles on it. That was the full asking price from the dealership, just as a point of comparison.

Thats a great deal. Suggested Retail from KBB for your LR3 is over $18k. Thanks for the heads up.

I have an 04 SE7 and no offense but on these forums, I have seen people find 03-04 for as low as 3500, but obviously not in the same condition or low miles. But I have seen clean ones around here for 8500! Just my 2 cents.

Markets vary.

Down here in Florida because most people arent interested in 4x4's they go for pretty cheap. Flip flop in a place like colorado.

I am in the market for an LR3 and could find one with under 70k miles for under your asking price. I can find 10 LR3's under 14k.

All 04 DII's in my area are under 6k. Your's may be extremely well maintained and worth twice that because as we know the purchase is the cheapest part.

I wouldn't pay more than 8k for a clean 04 DII down here. My market allows me to be picky about that.

Your area/your call.

While being as respectful as possible your price is too high.

You are 5 grand high. I haven't seen any d2 sell for over 10 grand in 2 years.

Thanks for the input. Up here in New England they seem to go for a premium. I figured Blue Book private sale value plus the Carfax premium was an ok place to start. I'll knock the price down a bit and see how we do. Thanks again.

I think you might want to rethink your price. I bought one here in New England with 80k on the clock, OME springs and shocks, SS brake lines, ARB bumper, new front driveshaft and 17k on the motor for $2k less 2 years ago.

Where in New England are DII's going for a premium? At any moment on CL you can buy plenty of '04 DII's from $2K (needed an engine) to $5K. Sure, you see the occasional seller with a price that's higher but that doesn't mean they're selling.

I agree with Drillbit, $7500 is where you'll see action on that truck.
