2004 7 Passenger Disco II for sale
So, on this thread you have someone outside of Boston who says:
"wouldn't sell in my neighborhood, unless it came with 2 more"
A guy in KY who buys at least 100 Rovers a year say:
"You are 5 grand high. I haven't seen any d2 sell for over 10 grand in 2 years."
I'm just north of Fairfield County, CT and by dozens of DII's a year and agree with the comments above.
Where is this mythical section of New England where people pay two or three times more for DII's than the rest of the country?

I was suggesting that in general 4x4s (especially Land Rovers) are more desirable and therefore priced at a premium in New England VS say the south or the west coast. I talked to a dealer in the boston area that sells ~100 DIIs a year and he said thats a $14k car on his lot and the shop in NH that gave it a good once over suggested listing it at $12k. I'm in no rush so I'll see how it goes. Definitely appreciate the feedback and I do love me some LR Discovery and would not be heartbroken to keep both of them.

I'll sell mine tomorrow for 1/2 that price!
I'm always looking at 04 D2's as I have a solid 03 but want another and 7 passenger is a must for me. I live in New England.
Sell it to the dealer for 10k ASAP.
It looks too tough for a rich mall crawler and they are buying lr3's and bmw x5's anyway.
If it had heads done recently I'd consider paying 7k but most likely wouldn't.
My 2cents. Good luck selling.

Here's one that's been on and off CL for awhile. It's in Danbury, CT. I think CT qualifies as New England, last I checked.
Anyway, it's an SE7, has 42K on it and he's been trying to get $10,950. It comes with two sets of wheels and appears to be a pretty nice vehicle. That's about as high as I've seen a DII priced recently in my part of New England.

Prices tumble once you leave New England. Here's an '04 with 63K in New York for $9K OBO.
2004 Discovery 2 - Long Island, New York - Land Rover Forums : Land Rover and Range Rover Forum
Wow, it took three weeks to sell. What do you think it went for, $8K, maybe $7.5K.

After all the New England is where its at BS I've been spewing, a guy from Nashville has the highest offer so far. Its closer, but I'm still going to hold out. Am in no rush to sell and if I have to keep both Discos, they certainly look good on the driveway.
