This is a clean, well maintained high mileage 2004 Land Rover Discovery.
130,000 miles (thats less than 15,000 miles/year)
I am the second owner, though the carfax may show 3 or 4 (not sure)
The original owner bought it and then transferred it to his company.

Not mentioned in the craigslist ad:
New Serpentine belt and water pump
Replaced Crankshaft Position sensor
Replace windshield wiper motor (would not park)
New Windshield (was cracked when I purchased it)
New radiator, hoses and thermostat, Replaced cylinder head gaskets,
3 angle valve job, and resurfaced heads,new spark plugs etc...
New R/R whel bearing. New brake pads and rotors.
Rubber floor mats, loadspace protector, and loadspace cover
All fluids: Diffs, Tbox, Trans, Coolant, Brake fluid have been renewed
Custom made emergency brake gaitor.

Cosmetic flaws and repairs needed:

Front carpets worn at tunnel by gas pedal and passenger side tunnel
headliner fabric is detaching from headliner behind front sunroof, but is tight and not that noticable.

Been out of work on disability for 8 weeks for shoulder surgery and am expecting to have my knee(s) done within a few weeks.
Got to get myself back to 100% if I want to make it another 15 yrs...
I'd keep both the Disco and LR3, but more money is being spent than coming in.
Like I said "or best offer" I'm not gonna give it away, but someones gonna get a nice truck.

Looks like a solid truck and coming from you I bet its rock solid! Good luck with the sell Mike and hope your knee gets better.

 

Going in for artho knee surgery 03/05/13

I replaced the serpentine belt and found the water pump was loose (not leaking)
Replaced with new Water Pump.
The Wiper Motor not parking bothered me enough to replace it.
Repaired the Coin Tray and Ashtray.
Replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

I can't think of anything else to do to this truck except keep it.
