Default 1995 Range Rover Classic - Rusting Frame - Time to Go?

Hi all,

I have a beautiful 1996 Range Rover classic with an immaculate engine (have had a lot of great work done and it runs beautifully) with 144,445 miles on it. Recently converted to a standard non-air suspension. The problem is... the chassis is rusting. Badly. It's starting to come through the floorboards and all the doors are no longer lining up. Took it to the shop and they confirmed it's seen it's day. Wanted to get your advice on selling - when it gets to this point have you seen people posting on eBay with a very clear indication of the status? Try to sell locally? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Lots of folks will undertake the restoration to be honest. As long as you are realistic in the price. Post a for sale ad with a price and location. Someone will probably save it

I appreciate that. Do you have a general range you imagine they usually go for in this shape?

I appreciate that. Do you know a general range that you usually see them go for in this condition? Thank you for the time.

Depends on a lot of factors, location, interior condition, body condition and drive train.

500-1500 would be my guess

It’s a goner. I’ll take it off your hands and save you a lot of time and headache. If the floors are rusted and the doors don’t line up it’s fork time. I’ll give you $500 and a homemade pound cake to get you through the week. Where are you located? NY or South Dakota?
