Handbrake-issue after L98 engine/trans/transfer case swap
Hello
I have swapped in a LT98 engine (Chevrolet Corvette 1986) with a matching Chevrolet transmission 700r4 (4L60) and a Chevrolet 4wd transfer case.
Problem now:
The stock handbrake-drum does not fit anymore.
I guess all of you that swapped in a LS or similar engine might have experienced the same challenge.
or maybe some of you converted the handbrake for other reasons.
How did you solve it?
I thought of a conversion to a disc-handbrake conversion Kit offered from X ENG

disc handbrake conversion
Perhaps also an electronic parking brake could be a solution?
