Does anyone know of a source for the emergency bypass EAS kit?
Airbag man in AUS is out of stock, and the ones on ebay are over $500!
P38 ones should work fine.
Thanks!
I see. I didn’t know a kit was available. I tee’d 4 Schraeder valves into my P38 (one per air spring). It was a fairly simple job. I did it a few years ago so I don’t remember where I got the fittings from.
Well, to close this thread, I did two things
1. Went to amazon and bought 6mm fittings and 6mm air line. The fittings are all plastic, but seem to work just fine. I hooked these up to scrader valves and was able to manually inflate my airbags while rehabbing my EAS.
2. I bought a kit from "air bag man" this seemed expensive to me @ around $150 USD. Good things: really good quality fittings that I trust; 200 PSI nylon hose. Bad thing they use 1/4" fittings. This is ok since they are internal ****** and compression fittings. They are not going anywhere.
Compared to the push fittings where the 6mm and 1/4" difference feels more important.
I should take one apart and see if the o-rings are actually different!
