My coolant runs down slowly, with no obvious reason as to where it is going. Where could it be going? No leaks on ground, or around radiator/engine, no leaks into oil pan, no leaking into combustion chambers that I can detect, so where can it be going? Has 2.0 liter Ford engine. No problems otherwise---running good.
Has original Rover red antifreeze; I think they had problems with that, maybe damaging some gaskets, right?

 

Some ideas - Try replacing the pressure cap on the reservoir - ($20 Amazon). Also could buy some fluorescent dye and a blacklight from amazon ($15), check hoses after everything upto temperature. Check oil and look for milky sludge - sign that the cylinder head gasket may have failed.
