I will buy new evoque. Are Evoque have any chronic problem?

New Evoque is 2020 Evoque.

We're on our third Evoque. They have been very reliable.

May be so early for waiting comment about it. There is not so much comment yet.

 

Someone who has had 3 evoques have probably had them for a shortish period of time (2-3yrs?) & probably mostly with the warrantee. You want to get advice from someone who has had 1 evoque for 6-9yrs. They will know if it is really reliable.

 

I'm wondering the same! I've seen a lot of negative reviews regarding reliability. Not sure if it's the Land Rover brand in general, or the Evoque model specifically. I can't see the link that you posted, but I just purchased a 2020 RR Evoque R-Dynamic SE P300. It's pretty amazing! The only issues I see (which is not really an issue for me) is that the acceleration from stop lags a little bit, and the infotainment system can lag a little bit. I think those are just a matter of patience though

Hi regarding lag from stop, try sport mode! Helps, not perfect! Not just evoque does this. A few brands. Had a Ford Focus with the same issue. Hope this helps! Ray..

 

Hi not sure if my problem is the same as you other guys but your help would be appreciated, I own a 2017 2litre auto L538 the problem I'm experiencing is a bit concerning, as the car is losing power when trying to accelerate from a slow speed, a typical example is when braking down to negotiate a roundabout the car just will not increase speed when exiting the roundabout, this may continue for 1/2 mile the rev counter is showing the engine speed is increasing but its not.
Another example is while cruising on a motorway fast lane 70mph the car suddenly slows to maybe about 40mph. I've tried sport mode with no effect. I don't experience any dash warning lights nor management lights.
I had a similar problem with a 2012 2.2l manual, but with that I had lights coming on. that time it was a turbo issue.
