Default 2020 Evoque not charging phone fast enough

Have a 2020 evoque. For the past month phone loses power while plugged in for CarPlay. Shows charging but not enough to keep up. Changed the cable. Still not luck. In the past it would charge to 100 on the cable with CarPlay running. Thoughts on what may be going on? Seems like
low power. Thanks.

The USB port in your Evoque might not be providing enough power. It could be worth testing other USB ports in the car, if available, or trying the same setup in a different car to rule out this possibility also Ensure that your phone's software is up to date. Also, check the battery health in your phone's settings. A degraded battery might struggle to maintain charge even while plugged in.

definitely seems to the the evoque USBs and both of them. Works fine in my discovery. Wife’s iPhone kept losing CarPlay when plugged in. Guess need to go to dealer. I feel like I have this car in there every other month.

Old thread but i found the reason for this fluctuation. When your iphone has less than 50% battery, this happens, it seems like not enough power to keep the charge constant. Once its 50% and above, it will not drop.
