Evogue aircon compressor - unit replaced

Evoque aircon compressor - unit replacing
Aircon compressor-
bought a 2020 model Evoque. The aircon compressor needed to be replaced. The dealership says minor issue. Is this like a normal wear and tear issue? Its a 2020 registered model but i bought it preowned from the dealership. i am a female, an know nothing of aircons or compressors. Only that its the 3rd time since buying it (less than 3 months ago) that aircon has had issues.
