Dead engine. Now what?
2010 L322 Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography Edition. Ipanema Sand. 115,000 mi.
My engine seized this winter. Diagnosed first by my local mechanic, confirmed by LR dealership.
What are my options? Wife wants it gone—“lemon”. I assume: put a $10,000 used engine in it and sell; try to sell as-is. Any others?
I’m not mechanically inclined enough to remove/replace an engine myself. Who would buy it as-is?
Gonna make me upside-down either way.
Thoughts?

Put feelers out to LR shops that you might be selling as is. Someone always knows another looking for a parts or project vehicle. Expect low *****.
Facebook groups like Merican LR owners is good for throwing out offers. Take the time to part it out?
Fixing will cost money. The possibility of getting a return. Depends on where in the world you are.
