Help, Looking to Buy a 2003 Range Rover HSE
Was looking around for a new car and came across a 2003 Range Rover HSE with 87k for 1500. Owner says she has taken great care of it and its in great condition (will check for myself before buying), but was doing some research and it looks like they are really expensive to maintain. I am a college student and the price seemed great for what I'm looking for but not trying to spend a lot annually on repairs. Go to school in upstate new york so will probably encounter snow while using it.

First year of the 3rd generation, it will have the BMW M62 motor for better or worse. You will need to be aware it might be trouble free, or it might cost a couple grand every other month to operate. You being a college student is not going to help in the budgeting department there.
that price tag of 1500 is insanely low. If you want it it is an absolute requirement you take it to a Land Rover Dealer, and pay them to do a pre purchase inspection on it, OR you already know an amazing rover mechanic that knows what to look for too. I would be expecting some major issue for that price point.
