Location of A/C blower motor relay?
G'day,
Been a while since I have been to this site. I have a 2004 L322 that the a/c motor stays on even when the key is turned off. Trouble shooting seems to point towards the relay.
However, I can't locate the relay. Can anyone help me with the location of the relay?
Yes I have used the search engine to no avail.
Cheers,
Mungrol

So funny... I just posted about this today. Discouraged to see you never got a reply. There are tons of posts about this in the LR forums, but the location of the blower relays are not the same. I was hoping to try swapping the front/back, but I can’t find them! I ended up pulling what I discerned to be the front blower control unit maxi-fuse to get the blower to stop so I could reconnect my battery, but I need to find the relay to see if that or the FSR is the issue. I downloaded the L322 Electrical Library manual, but the diagrams do not match the fuse boxes in this car. So strange that it’s not in the engine compartment box. Mine is prob different from yours as a few things were redesigned for the ‘10-‘12, but if you have any insight please share.
Here’s a link to that manual, which may be more helpful for your truck:

I was having the exact same issue this week. This was one of the first results I found on Google. I figured I'd share what worked for me in case anyone else in the future has a similar issue.

Turns out the blower motor doesn't have a relay, it uses a resistor instead. Here are two links that walk you through how to replace it.

There's a step in the process where you have to remove a power clip from the resistor. You may have trouble here. And by "may", I mean, it's a ****ing pain in the ***. I had to contort my body in ways that would make Ted the Caver weep and I inadvertently taught my children several creative combinations of swear words.
Also- when it comes time to put the new FSR back in; there's a release tab that you need to push down, otherwise it will get stuck halfway through. I didn't see this mentioned in either the link or the video.
