Default A-Pillar Windshield Trim Installation Tip

Some help for those who couldn't find the info I had to find out on my own:

You need three parts to reinstall the a-pillar trim on the outside of the car. Commonly replaced whenever a new windshield gets fitted.

4x LR002229 - Little rubber/plastic booties that slip onto the white plastic clips
4x IPN500050 - The aforementioned white plastic clips
4x LR033144 - Black plastic push rivets

The white clips get clipped into the a-pillar. The plastic booties get pushed over top of the white plastic clips. I found it easier to install with a smidge of silicone grease on these so that they slide across the paint on the a-pillar more easily.

Start at the bottom and press the clip/booties into the 4 holes.

Once they feel secure, push the rivets into the other four holes facing the door jamb and tap the peg in with a small plastic mallet.

All done!

These go onto the white plastic clips before attaching the trim. P/N LR002229
