My Rover is aging into a more off-road focused machine, and as part of the transition is going from RR Full-Size Rims (LR010666/017926) to Rims from the RR Sport (LR017281/028938), each similar vintage (2009-2012 or so). Would appreciate thoughts concerning the ideal lugs for the new rims and any similar experiences.
At least one site lists the OEM Lug Nuts as LR068126 and many list the same for both these models: 14/1.5, spec profile 14mm bolt 23mm shank. So that seems to indicate same lugs would work for each.
But I need new lugs and need to go black for the new rims, and am thinking aftermarket - are any decent or all crap?
Perhaps go with a bit longer head so it is easier to get at/not seated as deep in the hole?

I have used these they are starting to show a touch of rust on the black where the impact beat them up a bit. Solid lug nuts however that do not have the silly cover on them.

BTW, why the three LR3s? Spare parts?

 

One is my current Daily, the other is being built to replace it and last is now my daughters
