Cool 2014 RR; Am I Crazy??

Long time Jag owner here, wondering whether a 2014 Range Rover (LWB; SCV8; ~70K miles) is a bridge too far...

The 5.0 XJ Jags were fairly well sorted by 2014; how about the L405 RR's? Are they as thoroughly bad as JD Power and general opinion paints them? I ask, because Jags share the same sort of reputation, yet are actually great cars, IF you know which years, engines, etc to avoid (which I don't).
Doing a search on this site says 2018+ RR's are favored, with some sort of warranty. My opportunity is a '14, minimally dealer serviced, 3 owner, zero warranty RR. BTW, I do all my own Jag maintenance and repair work. Dated screens, etc don't bother me, but endless electronics issues do. I have a good JLR OBD2 scanner.

Am I Crazy to consider this 2014? Better to wait for a later model?
What say you?

You are not crazy. It is still a great looking vehicle, and with low miles. Make sure you give it a thorough inspection before pulling the trigger. Good luck.

Probably. I am as well, having bought one sight unseen from a dealer on the other side of he country. Consensus seems to favour model years 2016 and on but suspect all in the condition of the vehicle and how treated. Probably worth paying the extra for a Gap diagnostic reader.
