Default 2020 PHEV Gearbox Fault Detected

Bought a brand new 2020 phev Saturday and have received two catastrophic failures where the vehicle lost power and drive and said gearbox fault Detected. Whether connected or not later the same day the climate system failed, when you touched power button, it would flicker and shut off. The times and dates reverted as well.

Very disappointing for a vehicle less than 48 hours old.

drphil,

Was this issue ever resolved? If so, what was the resolution? I'm interested in the P400e as well and just doing my research.

Thanks you,
Tim

Range Rover tech arrived at house today, he had seen this fault flagged in some communications, updated the PCM module and looks to be fixed for just now.. watch this space for updates

Had the same issue with a 2020 Range Rover Sport P400hse, (13,000 miles) it just stopped in the middle of a duel carriageway in busy London traffic! the Police towed me off and the AA picked it up next day. Went to main dealer who replaced the gearbox module (was in for nearly a week). Also had issues with the infotainment system as it seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes just goes off for no reason, A/C starts full belt for no reason during a journey, Amazon music sometimes works, sometimes not, sat nav freezes on long trips, Apple Car Play switches to radio for no reason, Car Play will not work on lower screen....and it goes on. This was apparently 'updated' whilst fixing the gearbox issue. Had a brand new 70 plate full size RR Vouge SE as a courtesy car which had an awful rattle behind the dash, and the passenger window up/down button broke leaving the window stuck half open. In a nutshell the Sport is a lovely looking, quiet & comfy car, but otherwise a heap of crap. Will never buy a Land Rover/Jaguar product again.
