InControl Touch Pro Software Release S21B_21.37.2-778242
Anyone notice any other bugs in the recent update?
I did notice it improved overall stability.
2018 RR Sport Touch Pro Duo. 51k miles but it is a CPO, so full warranty.
It had no effect on the constant CarPlay connect and disconnect or CarPlay not working at all, saying connection failed, please unplug and replug or whatever it says. That never works. It will not work again until shutting down the car/system and starting again. I’m using brand new apple brand cables. I’ve taken to dealer for this multiple times and they always say they cannot reproduce the issue. Of course they can’t, it’s intermittent! I finally brought my laptop in the car with me to record it happening and showed them. They couldn’t reproduce or pinpoint any problems. But when it does happen, it’s such a pain it makes me want to drive to the dealer and demand they look at it right then. The last visit the service advisor told me that the vehicle only supports up to whatever iPhone was out when the car was made. Not true.
I love the vehicle other than this. But it’s enough to make me want to get rid of it at times. When I can’t use nav or CarPlay suddenly and can’t make hands free calls, it sucks.
The dealer just doesn’t seem to want to spend any time on it. They offer me to do a road test with a tech…but 90% of the time, it isn’t going to do it for them.
I’m at the end of my whits….anyone with more technical JLR knowledge, please help or advise!!
