Hello! I have owned a few rovers in the past, most recently a 17 RRS Dynamic which was trouble free from 20k-75k miles!

I had the itch for a full size as a play truck and found a high gem that has a persistent 0170 code. I just changed plugs, pvc, oil and cleaned MAFs. Needed all of it anyway.

There is 0 performance issues, as a matter of fact it’s running stronger then when I bought it. But after 3-5 starts and 50ish miles, I get the code.

Next I would presume is the O2 sensors. Are they covered under warranty? Should I just replace them myself or deal with the dealer? Thanks!

 

The emissions warranty will depend on the state you live in. I think it is 8 years/80k miles in most states but some go as long as 10 years if I am not mistaken. Best to check with your dealer.
