Range Rover L405 wheel thread
Hello,
My name is Ruben.
I am honestly surprised there is no wheel thread yet. Been looking all over the web and haven’t found a good one so I am starting one now.
Currently I own a 2019 Range Rover HSE Long wheel base (LWB) autobiography V8.
I am thinking to put on new wheels that are more flush. From my research, my plan is to put 22x10.5’s with a 35mm offset. For the tires, 305/40r22. It should be a total diameter of 31.6” which should fit. I heard some people report rubbing at 32”. Please confirm.
I am pretty sure these are my oem wheel specs:Wheel Size 22x9.5
Bolt Pattern 5x120 with a +45 offset 72.6mm hub bore
I’m after two things, more flush and meatier tire. My wife curved up the Audi wheels so bad 🥲
Here’s some of my calculations:
If new wheel is 10.5” wide and 35mm offset, I will lose 3mm of clearance from OEM inside the wheel well and will gain EXTEND an extra 23mm on the outside. In other words, might need a 3mm spacer.
Second scenario:
If new wheel is 10” wide and 30mm offset, you will gain from OEM stock 9mm MORE of clearance inside the wheel well and will gain EXTEND an extra 21mm on the outside.
In other words, 0.354 inches inside or 9/64”
And then, 0.827 inches outside or 13/16”
In other words, 0.354 inches inside or 9/64”
And then, 0.827 inches outside or 13/16”
Hope this helps someone!!!
Once I pick my wheel and tire I will post a photo and specs.
