I'm pretty fed up with my 405. 2019 HSE. I've had so many gremlins with this vehicle. Reverse detection not working, Have to replace the IMC (no function from the infotainment center - at the dealer now), have to replace the front struts, seat bolsters refuse to stay in position, goofy operation of the electric rear seat lowering (front seats move forward to let the set down and don't go back), and the list goes on. The dealer has been fantastic but the car hasn't. Only 25,000 miles. I love driving this car but I'm done with the problems.

I'm thinking of trading for a 2022 Defender, coming in next week, after the person who ordered it cancelled.

I'd appreciate any thoughts. Am I just being stupid getting another LR? This 2019 is my 4td HSE since 2007. 2007, traded 2012. 2012 traded 2018, 2018 lemon lawed and now this one. My wife is on her 2nd RR Sport and has had very few problems.

I've had most of those issues on my 2019 as well. Two front struts replaced at 5k miles, front seats don't return (I didn't think they were supposed to) and charging faults (which caused reverse protection to stop working temporarily). By far the most annoying is the car play connection dropping.

I only have one year left on my lease though so will be picking up a L460 instead.
