2001 p38 p1590 p1703
We have a 2001 Range Rover. It is throwing the following codes: P1590, P1703 and three lights: ABS, TC, and Service Engine Soon. If we find a shop with the factory trouble shooting equipment or similar, will it give us codes that are more specific (seems like the Jag setup did)? As an example, which brake has problems with the anti-skid fault. We have the 2001 Range Rover, a 1995 Range Rover Classic, a 2 Jaguar sedans, 1991 XJ6 and a 1996 XJ12 (just to make things worse we have a 69 TR6 and a Jensen Interceptor and YES we are seeking help! Is there an online group or a reddit for people like us? Idiots?) Is e2there a consumer system that will handle the fault codes for all four? Yes, we have an OBDII scanner. We have three lights, ABS. TC. SERVICE ENGINE SOON Two Codes: P1703. Transfer Box Line Fault (Does not shift to low range since before we bought it and has a spring conversion. We once had code that seemed to say that there was a problem with the transmission wiring harness that might be the reason it does not shift into Low Range) P1590. ABS Fault Also, the battery is going dead if vehicle is sitting a few days. No idea how old the battery is. June and 5 is punched out so maybe June of 2005 or 20015 or someone punched out random circles (worked at a gas station and one guy would do that to customers that bugged him). It sat for almost two months recently but before then we did not have any battery problems with it.
