I recently installed Extinct’s in-line t-stat mod in my GEMS P38. At Extinct’s suggestion, due to my Canadian climate, I installed the 190 degree t-stat instead of the 180. Before the mod I was seeing as high as 201 F on the Ultra-gauge while climbing on the highway. The highest I’ve seen now is 194. I would consider this to be a successful installation.
