Hey guys, I am looking for some Beta testers to test out my new P38 inline thermostat kits - similar to my D2 kit you can read about here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...thread-105010/

Kits will replace the factory Jarvis heart plastic thermostat, inline housing will go in the upper radiator hose, Tee will be place in place of the factory thermostat, bypass hose will be eliminated just like in the D2 kit.

I will provide all parts for the Beta testers, would like to get two 4.0 Gem trucks, two 4.6 Bosch trucks.

To be considered you will need to have a obd2 temperature monitor or mechanical temperature gauge installed. You will be working with me to work out any issues on install and fitment, but I think it will be as straightforward as the D2 kit. Likely will see similar results to the D2 kit with more consistent temperatures between 180-190 degrees.

I don't have a P38, but my best friend does 02 4.6L

 

Have your friend contact me, as long as he as an OBD temp gauge where he do some datalogging and is willing for me to share his info that ok with me.

 

Interesting thread. Had I not just replaced all my coolers I would have been game.

 

Passed along your info to him, I think he has an OBDII Bluetooth unit with the phone app to monitor stuff.
