Default P-38 electric issue

Just parked the l322 and got the old P-38 up for the summer time. As is typical for this truck I have owned for 20 years now there is always an issue.

Right now the center console switches do not work. Cannot get the mirrors to move nor role the windows up and down. Anyone have any ideas before I run this off a cliff?

Did you check the fuses?

I did check them. According to my manual it is fuse #22 in the interior right side. 30 amp fuse and it looked good. Thought it might be something else like a relay but the manual is pretty limited.

If you have or can borrow one use a test light and see if there power at the fuse.

I had to buy that center unit with all the switches and replace it and all worked again.

Really? Crap that is a drag. Apparently there is no power to the switches but if I put the rig into reverse the mirrors change to backup mode.

Had the same problem with fuse #22 every once in awhile would pop the fuse. Found the puddle lights at bottom of the doors witch I didn`t know were there had fallen complete apart and wires were causing a short in interior lights. I changed my lighting to LED and could not figure out where the other bulbs belonged thus the puddle lights hard to new and pricey a little solder and plexi glass they look and work great.
