Just recently the sunroof on my 2001 RR quit rocking up in the back to seal. It also will not rock open from the back. The motor is working, but the back will not lift. Any suggestions would be appreciated

 

I'm pretty sure the chintzy plastic tracks are broken. This is a very common problem on P38'S. Unfortunately, to fix it properly isn't cheap. The proper fix is to replace the two track assemblys, which are expensive. You can try to find good used ones. Also, there is a seller on eBay who 3d prints the plastic pieces that break. I haven't read about anyone having good success with these (including me). I ended up manually getting mine closed and disabling it. I may someday fix it, but not in the near future. Someone sells all the individual parts on ebay. Pulled from working sunroofs. Cheaper than buying the entire track. FYI the track has to be removed regardless if you buy an entire track or just the parts. Land Rover does not sell the individual parts
