trailer plug. in a 2000 P38 on the passenger side( right side in Canada) the trailer plug hidden in the cavity of the gas tank manual opener ther are 7 wires .all dual color coaded .would any one in the group know which which is which
.the wire colors are
Red/white
Green/Red
Yellow /Red
green/ purple
Green /Yellow
Red/Black
and a larger Black

You can quite easily download the wiring diagram. What I did was order the plug and play trailer wiring harness from Atlantic British. No cutting and splicing, from my memory it was around $50 CAD.

 

thanks Haviar, i could not find this color code "scheme" ( so far) in details on the internet. if you could send me a link i would thank you immensely . ill contact Atlantic British ,but a friend told me it would be extremely expensive
