All sounds so Typical,
I have had my P 38 for just over 2 years and have been going through the gambit replacing everything it seams, but love it,

Default Multimedia install with OEM 11 speaker HK system

I am posting this as a 2001 SE owner that has survived due to other's forum contributions. Just finished up a 9" pioneer multimedia receiver install. Shared this on another forum as well to hopefully help others in the future.

Multimedia head unit DMH WT76NEX or 7600NEX with a metra 70-1784 and PAC SWI-CP2 wired directly into the pioneer wiring loom as a stand alone harness. Plugs directly into factory plugs using the 11 speaker factory system. No cutting of the vehicle harness required.

I replaced the last two feet of air line to the driver side rear bag. The old hose was not sealing well with the new-ish air spring.

I bought 6mmOD x 4mm ID nylon air line with 350lbs burst rating at McMaster-Carr and had a sharp knife.

The Land Rover connectors STC8580 seem to work very well.

Let us know how that hose works out. A few years ago I replaced some of my hose in the engine compartment with some commercial 6mm white translucent hose. It did not stand up to the warmth in that location. I’ve since salvaged some hose from a P38 that I had for parts. It works really well but of course it’s 25 years old just like the hoses in the one I drive.

So far so good. It has been about a week and everything is holding air as it should. I bought this tubing... https://www.mcmaster.com/50405K65/

That looks like much better quality hose than the one I tried.
