Default 2006 Range Rover Sport Transmission Fault

Each time I start my 2006 Range Rover Sport, I get a beep and transmission fault appears on my dash. I get the same beep and transmission fault message when I shift into park. It runs and drives without issue. In checking the codes, in the transfer case control module section of my Icarsoft scanner, I get a P173E code: Ingition key lock solenoid - circuit low. When I clear this code, I instantly get a beep and "transmission fault" on my dash and the code instantly logs again. So, I am fairly certain that this code is causing the transmission fault message. Now, I am not quite sure what to do to correct it, though. Any ideas? Do I have a bad transfer case control module? Thanks.

Hello!
I have a 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4.
I have the same problem since yesterday than you have JasonMN. Have you found the solution for P173E code? Thanks.

Mine ended up being a corroded plug connector into the transfer case control module.
