2010 RR HSE Coolant Issue
Have a small coolant leak that requires the reservoir to be filled every few days. Maybe 16 oz each time. No noticeable leaking on ground or around typical leakage points.
Allowed it to get low enough for low coolant light to go on, but temperature gauge appeared fine. Adding fluid, light went off then on again after 10 miles. Assume that means fluid added simply went into system and is circulating there and reservoir needs to be refilled and monitored.
Two Questions:
1) Am I thinking right?
2) What color coolant should be used in that vehicle? Been using Peak Pink, but LR mechanic said they use Orange. The Peak (Pink) bottle says European Vehicles - RR 2006 and up. Orange say North American Vehicles. Does the color/brand matter? Should I stick with what I have been using for consistency or is there a better option?
Appreciate the help. Yes, I know I need to get it looked at but trying to limp it until my son can bring it home from college. He is in an area where no one wants to work on LR and frankly I don't trust them.
Thanks for any feedback.

I've been using the Peak labeled for Land Rover also.
Remove the plastic engine cover. Start the vehicle, look for obvious leaks around the thermostat housing, that's a problem area, I'm in the process of replacing mine now.
