I have a 2011RRS normally aspirated with timing chain rattle. 88,000miles. Looking for someone who may have the specialized tools to get the crank pulley removed and possibly provide guidance or assistance if needed. I have a shop with all tools needed besides the specialty items. Looking to do the guides and tensioners only. The "Zip Tie" method.

I just heard about an indie in ATL who is reliable and Price in Ooltewah is top notch if you decide to have it done.

 

What what are the names of the two shops I'm very interested.

 

Price is Ooltewah Auto & Marine and Zovas Auto in Dawsonville is the other. I do 99% of my own work so I've had conversations with Price for help but not actually used him. Zovas was recommended on the Facebook LR owners forum.

 

Also I drive an LR3, I was on this forum because I'm looking at a repoed 2010 RR L320.

 

I called both. Left several messages for Price/Ootelwah Auto and marine. Didn't get a response. I spoke with Zovas. They were quick to tell me I had the "bad" engine and they do not work on 5.0. I did notice in my recommended searches Rover Land LLC. in Dawsonville GA. He has a FP page and a website. He sounded very knowledgable and gave good pricing. From what I remember he specializes in all RR's and has been in business for several years. I have an appointment to have full timing chain replacement and plastic coolant lines replaced.

Dropped off the vehicle on Monday picked it up on Thursday. Turns out I had a bad water pump and clutch fan. While I had it there I had the coolant lines replaced that are common trouble issues. The shop did everything they said they would and faster than they initially said they could. I would recommend Rover Land LLC to anyone.
