Default Ecu/ecm Headache

I need help 😫. I am working on a Range Rover HSE with bad ECU. I bought a used one from ebay to replace the bad one. I tried so reprograming tools, none of them worked. Please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to be cheap by doing it myself....lol

Did you got the same part #? what tools you have or what tool you trying to program it with ?

Yes. I bought the right ECU part number. I have tried Launch and nanocom diagnostic equipment. Yet, it tells me Ecu is not programmed to car.

hi, if depends on the wiring diagram you have good power,negative and good HS CAN and you able to connect with the ECU by your OBD scanner , so which gonna help you SDD or try to clone that original one on bench if you have hexprog or flex ...etc
