Yes you can , I reinstated mine have found out the the pump wasnt even being driven. So I had trouble with rotten pipes to begin with , put new front pipes in at big expense apart from labour , and yeah , no drive . To add if you are bypassing the system, the computer controlling the ace system was deleted. . I reinstated that also.
I have a RR SC 2010 5.0L that I need to bypass the ACE pump for the moment could you guys help and guide me through the replacement I tried to follow what in the thread but my mechanic keep bumping with the belt tensioner. (Photo attached )
