Replace Front Sway bar bushings and lower control arms
First I was wondering if anyone knows of a video showing the replacing of front sway bar bushings on an 2012 RRS with hydraulic assist. I see write ups but am better with visuals.
Also, I was completing the installation of my lca and after i backed the axle partially out of the hub Im having a hard time getting it back in now. I have the lca hand tightened wondering if anyone had any advice on getting the axle seated correctly.
Thanks

Get on youtube and search for LR3 or Disco 3 LCA replacement; I think you'll find there are a load of videos. Getting the hub correctly seated can be a pain and you do need to get medieval with it and be patient. There are a lot of videos that can provide visual cues and tips. I also think there's a wiki or 'how to' guide on the Disco3.co.uk site; certainly some write-ups. The ARB bushes are pretty straight forward - remove and replace. Again, I think there's plenty on YT - I just think you may find more material searching for the LR/Disco 3 or 4.
Ive searched all over for the rrs with dynamic response for sway bar bushings and havent found one. I think the issue is the DR. I see them for other ones but none with the hydraulic assist. They setup is slightly different for them it seems.
Ill keep lookng for the LCA

I got the lower control arm done and will revisit the bushings later. I had to replace the passenger axle as the threads got stripped. I managed to get the axle out and now am trying to insert the new one. most of the shaft is in but its not locking in place. Im wodering if theres a trick to doing it or is it basically keep pushing until it locks in.
Thx

The axles can be difficult to do, so be patient and (if necessary) knock the hell out of them. I found I had to.
I'd strongly recommend doing the bushings at the same time. I can't help but think you're over complicating due to the hydraulic assist? Isn't it the same part? Do it all at once then do the alignment once. You have to do alignment anyway having changed the LCA, so do the jobs together and be done with it.
Good luck.
