After a long headache after trying to install a roof rack I am in the final process of installing a new roof rail stud on my 2012 L320. This is one of the hard mounts where a roof track mounts to the vehicle. I am trying to figure out what the proper sealant used by JLR is to seal around the stud once installed. I just want to make sure I am using the proper product for the job.
The sealant is painted with the body of the vehicle. You an see what is left of the sealant on the flange of the stud.
