Windscreen rubber seal

The top edge of the rubber strip (approx. 700mm) to the windscreen has become loose. Is it possible to reseal with silicon or similar product?

Yes this happened to my screen , although it doesn't leak. The windscrren company uses a hot silicon. Stick like **** comes to mind, a good black silicon.
